Hey everyone! I have kickstarted my spring/ summer travels this year by going to Majorca (Mallorca) on a bachelorette trip. And it was AH-MAH-ZING! The waters were some of the bluest I’ve ever seen. Spain is definitely one of my favourite countries to visit because I love me some tapas and this island is definitely a gem in the Balearic Sea.
If you’re looking for a vacation to just relax and beach bum it, Majorca is the place for you! It’s perfect as a couples getaway, group trip or bachelorette like in my case. So let me break it down how to spend the ultimate weekend in Majorca.
How to get around Majorca
We chose to rent a car and drive around since it was pretty affordable, about $50 USD for the whole weekend Friday-Monday. But if that’s not an option for you, during peak season public transportation is pretty convenient! You can plan your route on this website here.

Majorca Hotels
The island of Majorca is pretty tiny but driving from end to end may be pretty time consuming. I suggest staying pretty central in Palma if you’re short on time and only there for the weekend.
Here are some options:
Catalonia Majorca
Isla Majorca & Spa
Palacio can Marques
Some fancier options:
Palacio can Marques
Can Bordoy Grand House and Garden
Hotel Hospes Marciel y Spa
And if you have more time, I suggest staying somewhere near the Formentor like here.

Where to eat in Majorca
Cassai Gran Cafe – a cafe with the CUTEST decor and yummy food and refreshing drinks! Reserve here. We stopped by here on the way from Palma to Cala Llombards and Cala d’Oro.
Maricel Restaurant (in Hotel Hospes Marciel) – I recommend this spa and dining deal. 80 Euros for a treatment in their spa, cava on arrival, and access to spa amenities. IN ADDITION, you can have a prix fixe menu lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant with great views from the terrace. WORTH! and delicious!
La Boveda – a small tapas bar in Palma. Definitely make reservations because they get PACKED. If you want to wait you can try to grab a standing table (or barrel) and wait for a table to open up. No pictures because we were too hungry. 🙂
Other options:
Kurobota
Buscando el Norte
Quadrat (pricier)
La Parada
What to do in Majorca
Calo del Moro – gets SUPER crowded but the water is SO blue its worth a visit. There’s also no sand on the beach to sit on so that’s kind of a bummer. It’s a little bit of a walk down to the beach from the parking but beautiful views all the way!
Cala Llombards – I recommend going to this beach after you make a stop at Calo del Moro. There’s beds you can rent, and also a hut where you can order food or Aperol Spritzes that come in togo bags!

Other beaches:
Torrent de Cala Pi
Platja de Mura
Cala d’Or
Cala Magraner
And obviously while on vacation, you can’t forget to relax and do some self care! I super recommend the spa at Marciel Hotel (mentioned above). Their spa and dining deal is really worth, and the hotel is set right on the cliff and you can access the ocean right from their pool!
One thing I wish I had time to do while in Majorca was explore Cap de Formentor at sunset. The views look amazing!! Will definitely check that off when I go back with the hubby hehe.
And that wraps up my weekend in Majorca! Hope that inspired you all to visit! 🙂
